Next Rangers manager will become Ibrox hero or zero in matter of weeks after Michael Beale sack
Rangers are continuing their search for a new manager following the sacking of Michael Beale, with Steven Davis in interim charge.
The latter will, however, most certainly be relieved of that duty in the very near future, with the Gers set to appoint a permanent boss imminently.
That new boss will have a long to-do list upon arrival at Ibrox, but as is the norm with such a high-pressure job, time will not be on the side of the manager.

There is, of course, an international break ongoing, meaning any new arrival in this period will have more time than most do.
But on the other side of the coin, not many new bosses will have as difficult a start to life in the dugout as the next person in the door at Ibrox.
If an appointment is made before the first game back, their first task will be to shut down a resurgent Hibernian side in the Scottish Premiership.
The Edinburgh outfit are currently flying high, having gone unbeaten in their last six matches in all competitions, with three wins and three draws.

Up next for the Gers is then a hugely difficult trip to Sparta Prague in the Europa League, undoubtedly one of the most challenging games of their entire season.
And after that, it is more action against an Edinburgh giant as Hearts travel to Ibrox in the Scottish Premiership, with the club sitting fourth in the table, just four points behind the Gers.
All three of those matches will be played before the month of October is brought to an end, and could result in immediate success or immediate disaster for the new face in the dugout.
In other Rangers news, one pundit is “amazed” at a behind-the-scenes Gers decision amid the club’s hunt for a new manager.
