Chris Jack issues update as Rangers schedule final managerial talks
Rangers aim to seal the appointment of a new manager during the international break, according to Scottish Herald journalist Chris Jack.
He wrote on Friday (6 October) that final managerial talks have been scheduled for next week with the club looking to finalise the successor to Michael Beale.
A number of names have been thrown into the mix with the likes of Kevin Muscat, Philippe Clement and Pascal Jansen linked with the hot seat.

The international break gives the club that slight bit of extra time in order to ensure that they get the right one over the line.
Rangers are a big and historic club and there’s no surprise that managers will want to take over the reins.
However, this must never be a job that’s available for anyone who wants it but for the one who deserves it.
Celtic hired Ange Postecoglou who’s now killing it in the Premier League and Gers also need that calibre of manager who’ll be wanted by English top flight clubs.
Muscat appears to be a decent option and he’s already held talks so it seems like that’s a name that even the fans would like.
