Spotted: Steven Davis in Auchenhowie talks with Danilo after Rangers new star snubbed repeatedly by Michael Beale
Steven Davis has been spotted in talks with Danilo at Auchenhowie after he was snubbed repeatedly at Rangers by Michael Beale.
The Brazilian forward, who joined the Gers from Feyenoord over the summer, posted pictures of himself on Twitter on Tuesday (3 October) of him back in training as he continues his recovery from a broken cheekbone.
The 24-year-old forward captioned the post with “back doing what I love”, with two of the pictures showing him talking with interim Light Blues boss Davis.
Point to prove
Danilo will very much feel as though he has a point to prove at Rangers after he hasn’t experienced the best start to life at Ibrox.
There was a lot of expectation placed on the forward when he joined from the Dutch club as he looks to follow in the footsteps of Alfredo Morelos.
He only scored three goals in his opening 10 matches for the Gers before he suffered the nasty facial injury when scoring in the 2-0 win over St Johnstone last month.

The Brazilian was, however, snubbed on a number of occasions by Beale, having only made four starts since making the move from Rotterdam.
He will likely see the Englishman’s departure as an opportunity to prove his worth and nail down a regular place in the lineup under a new manager.
In other Rangers news, Chris Jack has raged at a “shambolic” incident that took place against Aberdeen.
