Rangers could appoint new director as well as manager at Ibrox – Chris Jack
Rangers are still open to the possibility of hiring a new sporting director in the coming weeks at Ibrox, according to Chris Jack.
The Rangers Review journalist has reported that the priority for James Bisgrove is, of course, the new manager hunt as things develop since the sacking of Michael Beale.
A new director would oversee a set up consisting of numerous members of staff, including the likes of John Park and Dr Mark Waller.

A director role has been left vacant since the departure of Ross Wilson after his move to Premier League side Nottingham Forest in the past year.
Beale operated without one and was heavily back in the transfer market after identifying numerous players, most of which have failed to deliver.

Flurry of activity.
It looks as though John Bennett and James Bisgrove will have their in-trays packed for weeks, if not months as we get ready for another transition period at Ibrox.
Not only will the new manager take centre stage, most likely during the international break, but there could be boardroom change too with things needing to be turned around.
The door is certainly not shut, but the official process will not start until the manager is sorted, that is for sure as Beale’s replacement has a massive job on their hands.
The past six months have certainly been some to forget and the sooner everything is ironed out with some stability on and off the pitch, the better.
There has been a hostile environment created and that is not good enough, and everyone must take the blame for that, not just Beale, who lost his job.
Changes are coming, keep an eye on Ibrox.
