Arsenal star Declan Rice reacts to Rangers exit news as confirmation made
Arsenal star Declan Rice has reacted to Michael Beale’s exit from Rangers after the club parted ways with the manager.
As per the official Rangers website (1 October), the Scottish side have parted ways with the boss after results fell “short” of expectation.
Midfielder Steven Davis has been appointed on an interim basis, joined by Alex Rae, Steven Smith, Brian Gilmour and Colin Stewart.

Posting on Instagram after the decision, Beale wrote: “Thank you Rangers to everyone behind the scenes at the training ground and Ibrox, to the board, staff, fans and all the players. I will always follow and support the club from afar and wish you every success.
“Now is the time for everyone to unite fully behind Steven Davis and the team in the coming games. There is still so much to play for this season and I have a strong belief in this group of players. Thank you and good luck. MB.”
And among those liking and reacting to the post was Arsenal and England midfielder Rice, who joined the Gunners in the summer from West Ham.

Emotional farewell
Beale had a tricky time at the club, with plenty of pressure on the manager from the very start, as is always the case with any boss in the Ibrox dugout.
He clearly gave his all during his time there, but it simply wasn’t good enough, with the Rangers hierarchy not happy with the club’s start to the new season.
Disappointing results took place far too often, coming in the league against the likes of Kilmarnock and Celtic, and in Europe against PSV.
Beale will no doubt miss the club, but not many fans will miss him, even if they are into the League Cup semi-final and have started their Europa League group stage in fine fashion.
It remains to be seen how much time interim boss Davis will be given, but it is highly likely that the powers that be are extremely busy behind the scenes in trying to appoint a suitable manager as soon as possible.
