Todd Cantwell shares two-word message as Rangers injury admission made

Todd Cantwell has shared a two-word message on social media as the Rangers midfielder has made an admission about his absence from the side.

The 25-year-old has been out of action since picking up a knee injury in the Old Firm defeat to Celtic on 3 September at Ibrox.

The Englishman is believed to be edging closer to a return to action for the Gers, but he admitted in a post on his Instagram story on Wednesday (27 September) that he is “missing it”.

A miss

It was a major blow for Rangers to see Cantwell pick up an injury after what was already an incredibly disappointing day following the defeat to Celtic.

The attacking midfielder has been bright and made a difference since arriving at Ibrox from Norwich City in January, having scored six goals and laid on six assists in 28 appearances for the club.

He has emerged as a key player under Michael Beale for the Light Blues after starting in seven of the opening games before he was struck down through injury.

The Gers boss previously revealed that Cantwell would be out of action of action for “three or four games” and he has already missed three.

The Englishman is clearly missing being out there with the rest of his teammates, so he’ll be desperate to step back out onto the field as soon as possible to try and help his side fight for honours this season.

In other Rangers news, a journalist was left perplexed by one of Beale’s decisions against Motherwell.
