Official Rangers partner reacts as Rabbi Matondo update emerges in last 24 hours
Heart and Hand believed that Rangers attacker Rabbi Matondo could’ve been out for the rest of the season with his injury.
Michael Beale’s assistant Neil Banfield confirmed on Tuesday, 26 September, that the Wales international will be out for six weeks.
Matondo picked up a knee injury against Motherwell over the weekend which led to people fearing for the worst for him.
The club’s official partner took to Twitter to write, “Yeah I thought it was a potential season-ender.”
Blessing
Matondo has featured more than most thought he would this season and has been a game changer on occasion as well.
His absence is certainly going to cost Michael Beale and it’s a blessing that he’s not out for the rest of the season.
Beale said that it looked like a bad one and that can often mean several months on the sidelines – something that many fans will have feared.
While he continues his recovery, this is now a chance for someone else to step in and show why they deserve a starting berth.
Gers made a number of attacking signings this summer and it’s now on Beale to get the best out of them.
There are some talented players in the final third and they need to start clicking sooner rather than later.
In other Rangers news, Alan Shearer has delivered a claim on Gers’ Europa League campaign after what Gary Lineker said recently.
