Rangers: Glen Kamara sale looks even stranger as ‘excellent’ Leeds United verdict shared
Glen Kamara belatedly made his full Leeds United debut at the weekend, just under a month after joining from Rangers in a £5million deal.
The Finland international fell out of favour at Ibrox under Michael Beale, so much so that he was not considered for squad selection.
Indeed, Kamara was even forced to train away from the rest of his team-mates as his spell in Glasgow came to a rather sour conclusion.

But as predicted by many, the 27-year-old is proving to be a success away from Rangers now that he is free from Beale.
Leeds boss Daniel Farke hailed the midfielder for his “excellent” performance on his full bow against Watford on Saturday [23 September].
After a “tough” time of things at the end of his time at Rangers, in the words of Farke, Kamara has slowly been brought back up to full fitness.
“I think he was excellent in his passing, his positioning against the ball,” Farke is quoted as saying by Leeds Live [25 September].
“The last days I got the feeling that he looks like now he’s really prepared and ready because I just wanted to unleash him.”
Kamara completed 92% of his passes against Watford – a tally only two other Leeds starters could better on the day [WhoScored] – as United ran out 3-0 winners.
While the Finn’s sale helped bring in a substantial profit for the Gers, the underperforming squad would have been stronger had he remained.

Of that there is no doubt, and unfortunately it is Leeds who are now benefiting from having a fit and hungry Kamara in their ranks.
Had Rangers’ start to the season been stronger, a line could have been drawn under this transfer.
But after once again failing to properly click against Motherwell at the weekend, questions will continue to be asked with regards to Kamara’s exit.
In other Rangers news, Kemar Roofe has sent a message to a Leeds player after an update that was given last week.
