Rangers admire Pascal Jensen as Michael Beale sack pressure continues at Ibrox
Rangers are “keeping a close watch” on AZ Alkmaar manager Pascal Jensen as a potential replacement for Michael Beale, according to TeamTalk.
The outlet reported online (26 September) that Jensen is also admired by Premier League sides Everton and Crystal Palace after an impressive stint in the Eredivisie.
Jensen guided his side to a Europa Conference League semi-final last season and currently sits joint-top of the Dutch first division with a perfect start, while Beale remains under pressure at Ibrox following an underwhelming start to the season.

Changes coming?
Premier League sides are often a desired destination for managers, but with Rangers potentially looking to depart with Beale soon, they could find themselves with a new highly regarded coach.
TeamTalk make it clear that Everton are not planning to sack manager Sean Dyche soon, while Crystal Palace have gotten their campaign off to a good start, meaning neither side will be in the market for a new boss in the immediate future barring any significant changes.
This could pave the way for Rangers to secure a real coup. Beale has done enough to keep his job at Ibrox following a poor start to the campaign.

The Old Firm defeat and failure to reach the Champions League group stages was not enough for the Gers hierarchy to pull the trigger on a Beale sacking, and a well-fought Europa League victory against Real Betis and another three points in the league against Motherwell has helped the former QPR man to steer the ship back on course.
However, while the wins are now coming in, performances on the pitch are still considered poor. Despite the 1-0 win, Rangers fans booed their side after the victory – a clear indication that Beale remains under serious pressure and the sack could be imminent.
Jensen would come to the club with a notable reputation. He guided Alkmaar to a respectable fourth-place finish in the Eredivisie, but his European success had made him a stand-out manager in the continent.
To avoid the sack, Beale will have to significantly improve performances in Glasgow as any slip-up could be his last.
