Official Rangers partner makes Hearts admission on Scott Wright

Heart and Hand have admitted that Scott Wright deserves to be at Hearts and is not at the level to play for Rangers after his failed move in the summer.

The club’s official partner was sympathetic towards the winger who appeared to be on his way to Turkey this summer.

He returned to the XI against Motherwell on Sunday (24 September) but was ineffective and was eventually taken off by Michael Beale.

Heart and Hand wrote on Twitter, “I felt for him. Had no matches so of course looked short of match practice.”

To which a fan said that he’s at Hearts level and does not deserve to be at Ibrox to which the response was, “Yeah he is.”

Spot on

Wright is a hard-working utility player but a conversation needs to be had about how good he is technically.

The fact that he’s starting a league game despite so many new signings made raises plenty of questions about the club’s recruitment.

He’s only 26 so the club can command a decent transfer fee for his services and will once again look to cash in on him in the January window.

The wide attacker does not strengthen the playing XI and Michael Beale needs to answer questions if he thinks that he actually does.

There was no cohesion over the weekend and it was a surprise that they managed to get the three points as it was constantly backs to the wall for them.

Things need to change quickly for this team and Beale has a big job on his hands in order to get this done.

In other Rangers news, a never-seen-before player was spotted in Gers training on a Monday amid a recent international development.
