Rangers midfield sensation Mackenzie Strachan seals Ibrox loan exit

Rangers teenager Mackenzie Strachan has secured his Ibrox loan exit and has joined Scottish League Two side Stranraer FC.

Via their official website on Saturday (23 September) the 19-year-old has moved there on a temporary basis.

Lewis Budinauckas, the 21-year-old Gers reserve goalkeeper, has also moved to the club along with Strachan.

Needs to prove himself

The 19-year-old has been at the club for over a decade so it’s evident that he loves being at Ibrox and a part of the setup.

However, he will be aware that the club produces and signs talented youngsters every year so the competition is heated.

Going out on loan will give him a good chance to prove whether or not he deserves a first-team role at Rangers in the future.

Clubs have staff dedicated to track players out on loan and they will be keeping tabs on the teenage sensation, hoping he develops as they want him to.

He has already been capped for Scotland at Under 16 and Under 19 level and will now hope that a first-team role gets him picked for the next age group as well.

In other Rangers news, a never-seen-before player was spotted in Gers training on Monday amid a recent international development.
