Kenny Miller stunned by Cyriel Dessers moment in first half of Rangers v Motherwell
Cyriel Dessers didn’t know “too much” about his goal for Rangers during their Scottish Premiership meeting with Motherwell, according to BBC Sport pundit Kenny Miller.
The Gers were hosting their league rivals at Ibrox on Sunday (24 September), with Dessers opening the scoring in the 24th minute.
The hosts went ahead after a strike from Rabbi Matondo took an unintentional deflection of his teammate and into the back of the net.

“I don’t think Dessers knows too much about it,” Miller said on BBC Sportsound, as quoted by BBC Sport.
“I think he is actually trying to get out the way.”

Tough test
Motherwell went into the meeting with Rangers ahead of their opponents in the table, so Beale’s men knew they were in for a tough test.
The visitors meanwhile knew that it was a good time to play the Gers, who may be fatigued after their tremendous Europa League win against Real Betis on Thursday (21 September).
However, it could also be viewed as a bad time to take on the Glasgow outfit given how their confidence will be high following that win against the La Liga club.
Moreover, the Ibrox faithful were also in fine voice after the superb victory in Europe, which has helped ease the pressure on Beale.
Motherwell certainly had a go at their opponents in the first 45 minutes, with the travelling side keen to maintain their strong start to the new season.
They definitely started well at Ibrox, enjoying more possession than their hosts in the very early stages, as well as having more shots at goal.
