Rangers trialist faces worrying issue in Manchester United under-21s clash – Injury Expert
We’re delighted to welcome injury expert Dr Rajpal Brar as our exclusive columnist. Each week he’ll be giving his views on the injury situation at Rangers...
A Rangers trialist suffered a potentially worrying injury in the reserves game against Manchester United under-21s, according to Rajpal Brar.
The injury expert reacts after the club’s official partner reported that medics had to deal with him during the game on 15 September due to a calf issue.
He managed to brush it off and continue playing but there are still doubts over him featuring again this week for the Whites.

Discussing his situation exclusively with Ibrox News, Brar, a doctor in physical therapy and a sports scientist, said: “Soft tissue injuries can be difficult to assess and diagnose on the spot, especially low-grade injuries where you’re not sure if it’s an actual strain or if it’s tightness but it’s worrying he required treatment.
“There’s a lot of grey area there and part of that process is allowing the player to test it.
“There is a chance for aggravation but that’s inherent when dealing with grey areas.
“Whether he can feature again or not this week depends on why he’s feeling that discomfort – if it’s tightness and the physios deem it within normal limits, he might be able to.“

The trialist has not yet been named by anyone associated with the club and it’s still uncertain if he’s still at Auchenhowie.
What is known is that he’s on trial for the youth team rather than the senior team as the club continues to keep track of youngsters.
Gers will be hoping that he recovers soon and makes a good enough impact to be signed permanently in the future.
In other Rangers news, a never-seen-before player was spotted in Gers training on Monday amid a recent international development.
