Rangers injury news as update emerges on Danilo due to incident v St Johnstone

Rangers striker Danilo was withdrawn in the game against St Johnstone on Saturday (16 September) and has been taken to the hospital, according to the 4th Official.

The reliable Scottish football source reported that the Brazilian striker is suspected to have a compound fracture.

This is what led to him being taken to the hospital and it remains to be seen how he recovers in the coming weeks.

Via Twitter, T4O wrote, “Danilo has been taken to the hospital with a suspected compound fracture.”

Hope he recovers quickly

Just four minutes after scoring the opening goal, Danilo unfortunately had to be taken off for Abdallah Sima.

On initial viewing itself, it did not look too good and it’s good to see he’s being given the required treatment as quickly as possible.

The 24-year-old moved to Ibrox this summer and he just appeared to be fitting into the first team and doing what it takes to become a regular.

Rangers

This injury has come at the worst time possible for him and hopefully, it’s not as bad as it seems and he will be back in action in no time.

Rangers desperately needed the win after the wretched start they’ve had to the season.

Michael Beale is still a man under pressure and needs to pull out miracles in order to oust Celtic for the title this season.

In other Rangers news, a never-seen-before player was spotted in Gers training on Monday amid a recent international development.
