Rangers news as never-seen-before player Kieran Wright spotted in training
Rangers sensation Kieran Wright was spotted in first-team training during the international break, as seen in images shared by the Daily Record.
The Scottish newspaper shared on its website on Monday (11 September) that the 24-year-old is fourth in the pecking order at Ibrox after Jack Butland, Robby McCrorie and Jon McLaughlin.
However, as McCrorie was called up to Scotland squad after an injury to Motherwell’s Liam Kelly, it was a chance for Wright to shine.

Debut on the cards?
Wright is 24 and that’s considered a young age for a keeper unless he’s really good enough to take over the first-team responsibilities.
The Scottish keeper moved to Ibrox in 2016 and has since been loaned out on multiple occasions as he aims to get ready to be a first-teamer at an SPFL club.
Thus far, the clubs he’s been at including Dumbarton, Partick Thistle and Raith Rovers are in the Scottish Championship or lower.

It remains to be seen what the hierarchy at Ibrox have in store for him next as he does appear to be someone who could make it in the SPFL.
If there was a decent offer to come from one of the clubs in the top flight, Rangers would perhaps consider it.
Also, if Michael Beale does have plans to keep him at Ibrox, he could maybe try giving him his debut in a cup game just to boost his confidence.
