Rangers: Michael Beale speaks out on Instagram as new manager confirmed

Rangers manager Michael Beale has taken to Instagram to wish Rogerio Ceni and Charles Hembert well in their new roles with Brazilian side Bahia.

Beale, whose future at Ibrox has been called into major doubt, has previously worked with both men during a coaching spell in the South American country.

The 43-year-old posted a social media message on Sunday [10 September] reacting to the official confirmation of Rogerio and Hembert’s appointments with Bahia.

“Good luck Rogerio and Charles Hembert on your new journey with Bahia,” he said.

Interestingly, Beale turned off comments so no one could reply to his post.

Pressure

Beale may be under intense pressure at Ibrox following last weekend’s defeats to PSV and Celtic, but his social media activity suggests it is business as usual.

The former QPR head coach has uploaded a number of messages over the past few days, including this latest message wishing his former colleagues well.

It may well be that Beale is himself looking for a new position soon, with fresh talk that former Chelsea manager Graham Potter is being eyed up by the Gers [The Mirror].

Rangers

The only way Beale is going to save his job is by winning matches, starting with next Saturday’s [16 September] trip to St Johnstone.

Indeed, it may well be that Rogerio and Hembert are wishing Beale luck as that showdown at McDiarmid Park draws into sight.

In other Rangers news, a former Gers player was left unhappy with a decision that went against his side this weekend.
