Rangers handed future transfer decision as Alfredo Morelos refuses to rule out Ibrox return
Rangers were extremely busy in the summer transfer window, with manager Michael Beale bringing nine players to Ibrox.
That came amid the exits of a long list of Gers men, five of whom left upon the expiry of their contracts at the end of last season.
Among those to have moved on was striker Alfredo Morelos, who had banged in 124 goals from his 269 appearances for the club.

Many Gers supporters were sad to see the Colombian – whose 29 goals in Europe is a club record – move on, and they may be missing him now more than ever amid their disappointing start to the new season.
The Glasgow side were knocked out of the Champions League in a play-off clash with PSV, before losing the first Old Firm derby of the season 1-0 to fierce rivals Celtic on Sunday (3 September).
They haven’t had much time, but Beale’s new attackers have not been firing on all cylinders since joining in the summer, with the likes of Cyriel Dessers, Danilo and Sam Lammers failing to fill the gap left by Morelos.

However, the Colombian’s story at Ibrox may not be finished, with the striker taking to Instagram to send a message to Rangers supporters.
“Today, I close this chapter with gratitude in my heart and the certainty that I will always carry these colours with me wherever I go,” Morelos posted on Instagram.
“This is not a final farewell but a see you later filled with hope. See you in the future, Rangers! I will be always ready to be there for my friends in Royal Blue.”
The message comes as the 27-year-old returns to his native South America to join Brazilian outfit Santos, and it leaves his former club with a decision to make at some point in the future regarding a potential return.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has shared what Beale did during the match against Celtic that left Gers fans “not happy.”
