Todd Cantwell shares five-word response after Rangers Champions League exit
Todd Cantwell has shared a five-word response after Rangers lost 5-1 to PSV in their Champions League qualifying clash.
The Gers lost the play-off tie 7-3 on aggregate after the defeat on Wednesday (30 August), having drawn the first leg 2-2 at Ibrox.
James Tavernier scored Rangers’ only goal on the night in Eindhoven, following goals from Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo at Ibrox.

Midfielder Cantwell played 86 minutes in the first leg, with the former Norwich City man playing the entire match away from home.
Sharing his disappointment after the defeat in the Netherlands, Cantwell wrote on Instagram: “It hurts, we will respond.”

Bitterly disappointing
Rangers were in the tie heading to the Netherlands, having performed admirably in front of their home fans in the first leg.
But Michael Beale’s men simply capitulated in the second leg, with their disastrous performance epitomised by a calamitous own goal from centre-back Connor Goldson.
It will be a hard one to take for Cantwell and his teammates, as well as Beale and fans of the Gers, but they must all bounce back rapidly given how fierce rivals Celtic are up next.
The players cannot be feeling sorry for themselves ahead of the huge Old Firm clash, which will take place at Ibrox on Sunday (3 September).
Rangers still have plenty to play for in Europe, having now entered the Europa League, but their Scottish Premiership campaign is equally important.
Both Glasgow clubs have not been at their best in the early stages of the new season, and a massive three points are now up for grabs at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, Gheorghe Hagi has shared a “twice as good” Ianis Hagi prediction after his Gers loan transfer.
