Jim White blasts Rangers live on talkSPORT as ‘not good enough’ claim made
Rangers have not been “not good enough” in the early stages of the new season, according to talkSPORT host Jim White.
The Gers lost 5-1 to PSV in their Champions League qualifying play-off second leg on Wednesday (30 August), losing the tie 7-3 on aggregate.
The Scottish outfit meanwhile sit fourth in the league table, with two wins and one loss from their first three matches.

“Rangers in Europe, not a good look, not a good result,” White said live on talkSPORT. “Hammered 5-1 by PSV. It’s the Europa League for them.
“It’s immensely disappointing for everybody attached to the football club, and it’s immensely disappointing for Beale.
“I think quite simply it’s back to the drawing board, even this early, we’re about to go into September and Rangers are not good enough.”

Poor result
It was a very poor result in more ways than one for Beale and his men, who were humbled by the Dutch giants in Eindhoven.
The hosts ran riot on the night with a ruthless attacking display, although the visitors didn’t help themselves, with their poor efforts culminating in a disastrous own goal from defender Connor Goldson.
The Gers must bounce back from their hammering by PSV as soon as possible, with fierce rivals Celtic up next in the league.
Beale and many of his players will then have a much-needed rest due to the international break, with the league fixtures then coming thick and fast.
The pressure is on the manager to deliver in the Ibrox dugout given his dealings in the summer transfer window, with nine new faces coming in the door.
There is, of course, a silver lining from the defeat to PSV, with the Gers still having Europa League football to look forward to.
In other Rangers news, Gheorghe Hagi has shared a “twice as good” Ianis Hagi prediction after his Gers loan transfer.
