Rangers on red alert to seal incredible Callan McKenna transfer at Ibrox
Rangers are now on red alert to sign one of the most wanted goalkeepers in Britain, Queen’s Park teenager Callan McKenna, according to the Scottish Sun.
The newspaper has reported on its website that the Spiders would want a loan-back clause in any “big-money” transfer that may happen in the future.
It’s not just Rangers who want him though, with Celtic as well as Manchester City and United, Arsenal and three other English clubs on his tail.

McKenna’s rise to becoming Scotland’s youngest first-choice stopper is described as “Incredible” with an even bigger career step on the horizon now.
The 16-year-old even earned his first Scotland under-19 call-up recently, with his infant career set to take huge steps in the blink of an eye.

Fairytale.
This would be a very smart signing by the looks of it, and it looks as though McKenna is going to be shot into stardom very quickly after his breathtaking start.
Not many 16-year-olds are playing regular first-team senior football, never mind having the likes of Rangers and those English clubs mentioned tracking them doing it.
Ibrox would be the perfect step for his career, with proof that the Bears have brought in young talent and progressed their games in recent years.
Nathan Patterson and Calvin Bassey are the best examples, with the latter signing after initially failing in English football, only to be sold for more than £20million years later.
At his tender age, McKenna would not get first-team football in Govan, but he would get the chance to train at world-class facilities with some big names such as Jack Butland.
This is certainly one to watch before and after the deadline.
