Rangers in final stages of talks to sell Glen Kamara to Leeds United as decision made – Fabrizio Romano
Rangers are in the final stages of confirming Glen Kamara’s exit from Ibrox, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist tweeted on 27 August that Leeds United have made a bid for the Finland international and that he has agreed to join the club.
Romano said the Gers are now in the final stages of agreeing terms with the English side, with a deal expected to be completed next week.
Inevitable
It seemed pretty inevitable that Kamara was going to leave Rangers after there has been so much speculation around his future this summer.
The midfielder is yet to feature this season and has been out of Michael Beale’s thoughts despite many people thinking he would thrive under the manager.
Speaking to The Daily Mail on 16 August, Gers academy graduate Ross McCormack said: “I thought he’d be perfect for Michael Beale at Rangers but it’s obviously not working out there and he more than deserves the chance to return to England after the service he’s given the club.”

Kamara’s game time was massively reduced once the Gers boss arrived last season, having made just 19 league appearances – many of which were from the bench – despite featuring 28 times in the SPFL during the previous campaign.
It’s a sad way for his time in Glasgow to end, but the situation looks to be coming to a close now and that’s probably the best outcome for everyone.
In other Rangers news, a pundit was stunned by what one player did in the victory over Ross County.
