Luis Palma to sign for Celtic, debut on the cards v Rangers as multi-million fee agreed
Celtic are set to sign Aris winger Luis Palma and he’s expected to make his debut against Rangers next week, according to the Daily Record.
The newspaper reported via their live transfer blog on Sunday (10:04am, 27 August) that Palma, 23, will join Celtic for £3.5million.
The Honduras international has previously been linked with Rangers [Athlos News] and it looks as though he is “set to make his debut” in the Old Firm at Ibrox on Sunday (3 September).

They’re going to need him
Celtic will head to Ibrox next week off the back of a couple of bad results.
They were knocked out of the Viaplay Cup by Kilmarnock and then drew at home against St Johnstone in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday (26 August).
Brendan Rodgers’ return to Celtic Park caused a lot of controversy because of the way he left and a poor start to the campaign is raising the pressure on him already.

Also, you can add an injury crisis to that.
Cameron Carter-Vickers, Stephen Welsh, Yuki Kobayashi, Reo Hatate and Maik Nawrocki will miss the Old Firm so Rangers need to take advantage of that.
Palma might not be risked in the starting line-up next week but he could be on the bench.
He’s done well this season at Aris, scoring two goals and supplying three assists in five appearances across all competitions.
We’d have taken him at Rangers, in truth. But he’s joining them now and we don’t wish him well at all.
In other Rangers news, Chris Sutton has made an “astonishing” claim about the Gers Champions League campaign.
