PSV set for Johan Bakayoko transfer decision before Rangers showdown

Rangers could be tormented once more as PSV do not sell winger Johan Bakayoko before the second leg of their Champions League clash, according to Sacha Tavolieri.

The RMC Sport journalist shared via his Twitter account that Premier League side Burnley has made a £21.4million offer for Bakayoko, but PSV are yet to give them an answer as they want to keep the winger for now.

Rangers’ Champions League qualification hopes may have taken a hit by this news, as they struggled to deal with the electric winger throughout the first leg and will now have to face him once again.

Rangers could not cope with him

The 20-year-old caused the Glasgow side problems all night with his direct attacking style, as he completed four of five attempted dribbles, attempted four shots on goal, and won seven of his 11 duels, tormenting the back line [Sofascore].

Bakayoko picked up two assists in a fantastic performance at Ibrox. His first assist came from a ball cut back into the box from the byline, while the second showed another asset to his game as a fantastic corner delivery was turned into the net.

One highlight, in particular, came as the winger faced up left-back Borna Barisic, who has come under scrutiny so far this season, waiting for him to commit before flicking the ball past him, earning the defender a yellow card.

Rangers

Having been linked with moves to French giants Paris Saint-Germain and Italian Champions Napoli, as well as West Ham, Everton and Burnley of the Premier League, there may have been some hope at Rangers that they would not have to deal with him for the second leg.

This is definitely one to watch.

In other Rangers news, another done deal has been sealed at Ibrox.
