Bright future

Having previously spent time in England with Leicester City, Yfeko has been shining in the youth setup at Rangers. But he has now been given a chance to shine in the first team by manager Michael Beale, and he certainly didn’t disappoint.

It wasn’t exactly a great display from the Gers in general, who have started the new season somewhat shakily. But it was an important win nonetheless, and allowed Beale to gauge how certain players are getting on in these early stages.

It also allowed the manager to give minutes to some youngsters, with Adam Devine appearing off the bench late on to join Yfeko on the pitch at Ibrox.

It will have been a fantastic moment for both youngsters, and one they won’t forget in a hurry, with the victory making it even more special.

Borna Barisic is seemingly the number one left-back for the league again this season, but Yfeko could be in for more minutes in the various cup competitions.
