Glen Kamara transfer saga set to end as imminent Rangers exit update emerges after links to Leeds United move
The “saga” around Glen Kamara’s Rangers future looks like it is “going to end soon” with an exit expected in the coming days, according to The 4th Official.
The online outlet reported via Patreon on Friday 18 August that the Finnish midfielder’s move was “expected to be finalised next week”, according to a “source close to the Ibrox board”.
Michael Beale admitted that Kamara, 27, was likely to move on this year at the beginning of the summer [Rangers Review, 31 May] and hasn’t played him at all so far this season.

Amid interest from various sources Kamara has been heavily linked to a move to Leeds United for around £5million, and an answer now looks to finally be on the horizon.
It’s time
Clearly Kamara’s place in the Rangers side looks to have gone, barring a huge injury crisis in the midfield, so it looks like an exit is necessary for him and the club.
Beale could definitely get more use out of a solid fee right now, and if it comes in the next week there would still be time for him to add a couple of final signings.
Nico Raskin is one of the first names on the team sheet these days and new arrival Kieran Dowell has moved ahead of the former Dundee man, while the manager extended Ryan Jack’s contract at the end of last season and has still been using John Lundstram.

At 27 Kamara has plenty of good years left, and if it is Elland Road where he goes next he should get more opportunities there after multiple midfield exits at Leeds.
With sides from multiple leagues thought to be interested in his services it may help the Light Blues receive a good fee for him.
Both player and club appear to have reached a natural point where a parting is right for each party, and that is now apparently on the cards very soon.
In other Rangers news, a transfer prediction has been made for the £5m windfall the club has just received with current men considered “short when it matters”.
