Five clubs want to sign Rangers talent James Graham on loan, Edinburgh City among them
Five clubs have expressed an interest in signing Rangers centre-forward James Graham, according to the Daily Record.
The Scottish publication reported on its transfer blog on Friday [18 August, 12:05] that Annan Athletic, Forfar Athletic, Edinburgh City, Stenhousemuir and East Fife are in the running for Graham.
Rangers are said to be happy to let the 19-year-old spend the season away from Ibrox to gain some experience, but they are currently weighing up which club is best for his development.

Pivotal career moment
Graham is a player who is thought of highly at Rangers, though the club’s decision to remove their B team from the Lowland Football League means many youngsters are at somewhat of a crossroads.
The teenage attacker has yet to make his senior debut for Rangers and is not likely to seriously challenge for a squad place this campaign.
Spending the next nine months elsewhere therefore seems like the wisest option. Whichever tier of Scottish football he ends up playing in, he will gain valuable experience.

Graham will no doubt aim to score on a regular basis in order to catch the eye of Michael Beale, and it may well be that this time next year he is in a position to claim a place in the first-team squad.
However, with his Ibrox contract due to expire at the end of the current campaign, a failure to make an impact out on loan could leave Graham without a club.
In other Rangers news, Barry Ferguson has called for a rarely-seen player to be given a chance to impress against Greenock Morton.
