Official Rangers partner delivers verdict on Nnamdi Ofoborh future

Midfielder Nnamdi Ofoborh is unlikely to feature ever again for Rangers, according to the club’s official media partner Heart and Hand.

When asked on Twitter about the former Nigeria under-20 international, H&H responded that it’s highly unlikely he’s seen donning a Gers shirt.

The 23-year-old is yet to make his debut for the senior side after moving to Ibrox in the summer of 2023.

Via Twitter, Heart and Hand wrote, “I don’t think he’ll ever play for us.”

Bizarre one

Ofoborh has battled severe health issues since his move to Ibrox was made official in the summer of 2021.

His absence from the first-team picture led to many fans believing that he was perhaps no longer on the club’s books.

However, he shocked many with a cryptic Instagram post in March where he appeared to call out the Gers medical staff.

He said, per the Daily Record, “Two years, two operations, hundreds of appointments. Silent on the situation so I look like the bad guy, all the mistreatment of the last two years will come out.”

This clearly does not sound like someone who’s keen on playing for the club again and one who feels he’s been treated unfairly.

His deal runs out in 2025 and it will be surprising if mutual compensation is not agreed until then with his contract being terminated as both parties do not seem to see eye to eye.

In other Rangers news, a senior player has surely played his last game at Ibrox after a development last week.
