Michael Stewart shares brand new Rangers verdict after Champions League clash
Michael Stewart has sensed disappointment from around Rangers despite their 2-1 win over Servette in the first leg of their Champions League clash on Wednesday 09 August.
The BBC pundit did admit that the first 20 minutes was great as the Bears raced into a 2-0 lead, but the end of the clash against 10-men was not the best.
It is suggested that there will be nervous energy ahead of the second leg, but as long as they can consistently pick up results, that will disappear quickly.

Speaking live on BBC Sportsound, via the Daily Record, Stewart shared his verdict on what has unfolded at Ibrox across the last week after a busy summer.
“I think off the back of Saturday, the first half in particular, the first 20 minutes in particular, was very good,” he said.
“But when you look at the fact it was 10 men and only one goal of a lead, I think there is a degree of disappointment. But Rangers, they just need to make sure they get through the tie, that is it.
“As long as they can start to pick up results then that disappointment starts to dissipate. But at the moment there’s a real nervousness I would suggest about how their season is going to unfold because there is so many new players that have come in.”

Nervous.
This is a fair assessment, and Rangers will be disappointed despite the fact that they will head to Switzerland one goal ahead after the first leg.
Playing against one man less for most of the second half should have seen Michael Beale’s men grab the game by the scruff of the neck and take it out of their reach.
Instead, the football that followed simply wasn’t good enough, although we have to take into account the fact that this was only the second game this squad has played together.
It will take time, and hopefully, by the time the second leg comes around, it will click and the final qualifying round can be set up with relative ease.
Stewart spoke with sense and it’s true that once the results start to come, everyone will lose that nervous feeling with the hope of big success in all competitions.
