Amad Diallo sends message to Fashion Sakala as Rangers transfer news confirmed

Manchester United ace Amad Diallo has sent a message to Fashion Sakala on social media after he completed his move away from Rangers.

The Zambian forward joined Saudi Arabian side Al-Fayha for an undisclosed fee on 8 August as Michael Beale looks to revamp his Gers squad.

The 26-year-old took to Instagram to announce his move to the Middle East and his former teammate Diallo, who spent six months on loan at Rangers in 2022, responded by saying “Good luck my G”.

The message from Diallo shows that Sakala was likely a popular figure amongst the Rangers squad after he took the time out to wish a former teammate good luck.

He was also well thought of by many of the fans after a number of them have expressed their disappointment at seeing him move on from Ibrox.

Time will tell whether or not it is a good move by the Gers, as they really lacked a cutting edge in the opening game of the season against Kilmarnock.

The forward had a decent record last season after scoring 12 goals and laying on eight assists in 41 appearances, with several of those outings coming off the bench.

But after the Gers signed him from Belgian side KV Oostende on a free transfer in 2021 and are reported to have earned about £4million from the sale, that could go down as good business by the club.

In other Rangers news, Michael Beale could face a “backlash” if he doesn’t pick a player in the Gers’ next game.
