Rangers should sanction loan move for Ross McCausland after Alex Lowry ‘brilliance’
Rangers manager Michael Beale has been extremely busy this summer, with the man in the dugout overseeing a massive shakeup at Ibrox.
He has signed a total of nine players, and has sanctioned the exits of a handful of senior men, and he is certainly not done yet.
More new faces could yet be brought in, but amid all the noise of transfers and the new season getting underway, the boss should take a moment to consider the future of youngster Ross McCausland.

Beale has already said a temporary goodbye to fellow youngster Alex Lowry, who produced a display of “off-the-cuff brilliance” [Daily Record, 7 August] on his Hearts debut, having joined the club on loan on Friday (4 August).
The attacking midfielder may now inspire central midfielder McCausland to make a similar decision, with first-team minutes set to be very hard to come by at Ibrox.
With 14 senior appearances, Lowry is seemingly ahead of McCausland in his first-team career, with the latter having made just two Rangers appearances despite being the same age as the former.

McCausland, 20, was firing on all cylinders in pre-season, scoring four goals for Rangers B. But a switch to men’s football would definitely be the best option for the Northern Ireland under-21 international, allowing him to progress in the manner necessary to compete in the Scottish Premiership.
According to Sky Sports (7 August), that is seemingly very much the plan for the midfielder, who is attracting interest from clubs in Scotland, England and Belgium.

The publication added that Rangers are open to the idea of a loan for the new campaign, with the youngster certain to shine away from Ibrox over the coming months, if indeed a loan move does come to fruition.
In other Rangers news, a windfall is on the cards at Ibrox as “lucrative” £25million news emerges.
