Rangers transfer news as three more deals now on cards at Ibrox
Rangers could still sign off on three more transfers during this summer window, according to The 4th Official.
The online source, backed by Fabrizio Romano, has shared that with the signing of Jose Cifuentes, the first phase of the window is finished at Ibrox.
It is suggested that if outgoings are managed probably, then two to three more additions could be made with the heart of defence one position mentioned previously.
Writing on their official Twitter account, The 4th Official said: “With Cifuentes signed, I would say the first phase of Rangers transfer window is now done.
“If outgoings are managed well, I can very well see 2-3 more incomings at Rangers.”

Brilliant.
This is certainly something to be keeping an eye on as the window progresses.
The final third and midfield are likely sorted now, barring any exits from the club from offers that are too good to turn down for those involved in Michael Beale’s plans.
When you look at the defence though, there are slight concerns. Ben Davies has once again looked fragile in pre-season, with the left-back saga getting worse too.
Both Borna Barisic and Ridvan Yilmaz have not looked confident throughout summer, and if they are bombarded in the early stages of the season, they could easily crumble.
That is two areas that we would happily see strengthened, but there are no clear areas where a third player could possibly join unless both Robby McCrorie and Jon McLaughlin leave.
Exits are at the top of the agenda now though, with Glen Kamara and Fashion Sakala expected to kick things off very soon at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, a player’s move away from the club has now broken down.
