Rangers transfer news as Fashion Sakala misses training with bid on table
Rangers forward Fashion Sakala sat out of the club’s open training session on 1 August, after the club received another approach from Saudi Arabian side Al-Fayha, according to Football Scotland.
The online news outlet has shared that the Zambian was the only one not injured as others such as Tom Lawrence, Ben Davies and John Souttar also missed out.
It was reported by the Scottish Daily Mail on 02 August that the Saudi Arabian side had resurrected their move for the speedster, with a £3million fee agreed.

Rangers need to shift some bodies
Following a chaotic transfer window of incomings, with nine new faces having arrived at Ibrox already, the club are now feeling the need to shift some of the current players who have either lost their place or no longer fit in Michael Beale’s plans for the season.
One of these players is Sakala, who has seen Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Danilo brought in to play in his position, as he has slowly slid down the pecking order at Ibrox.
A move to Saudi Arabia could be an opportunity for both the player and the club to make some substantial money from his exit, with the Middle Eastern clubs happy to overspend to attract some of Europe’s top talent.

With just days to go before Rangers’ season kicks off against Kilmarnock, it will soon become apparent which players are, and which players are not in Beale’s plans for the upcoming season.
Concerns have been shared about Beale’s ability to build a squad after a number of forwards have arrived at the club with very little movement in terms of outgoings, but Sakala’s exit could be the move to get things going.
In other Rangers news, a Sky Sports journalist has shared it is just a matter of time before Rangers midfielder leaves.
