Glen Kamara won’t be involved or Rangers v Kilmarnock, expected to leave club this month
Glen Kamara will not play for Rangers against Kilmarnock on Saturday and is expected to leave the club, according to Mail Plus.
Writing on their official website (31 July), the Finland international is expected to be left out of the Gers squad for the opening SPFL game of the season this weekend.
Kamara is training on his own away from the first-team squad and is expected to leave before the transfer window closes at the end of the month, with Leeds United interested in his signature according to reports.

“The Finland midfielder has played for Rangers on the opening day of each of the last four seasons, but he won’t be involved when the new Premiership campaign kicks off against Kilmarnock this Saturday,” they wrote.
Decision made
It seems as though Michael Beale has made the final call and there is now no coming back for Kamara at Ibrox this season.
Having previously been a key member of the midfield at the club since his bargain move from Dundee, he is now firmly behind John Lundstram, Nicolas Raskin and Ryan Jack in the deeper midfield positions.
Add to that the fact that Jose Cifuentes is expected to arrive at some point this week too, and Kamara’s time at the club is quite clearly over.

Not being involved in training or in the match day squad for the first game of the season is a sure-fire sign to him to get a move on and find a new club, while Beale makes it clear that he won’t be carrying passengers into the season.
He has been backed in the market and he’s now making the tough decisions heading into the season, knowing that he will have limited excuses should things not go to plan.
In other Rangers news, another first-team ace has been told to pack his bags and find a new club.
