Michael Beale banishes Glen Kamara as he is told to find new transfer for Rangers exit
Glen Kamara has been banished from Rangers training by Michael Beale, with the Finland international told to find himself a new club, according to the Daily Record.
The publication wrote in their print edition [31 July, back pg and pg 49] that the Rangers boss has decided to isolate the 27-year-old midfielder as he isn’t in his first team plans for the upcoming campaign.
Beale has already made eight players, with Jose Cifuentes set to take that figure to nine at any moment and there is potential that more additions could arrive at Ibrox, if they are able to sell Kamara before the window closes.

Discussing the midfielder’s position with Scott McDermott, Beale said: “Glen was given and extended break at the end of the season due to internationals then he had a sickness problem which has run on.
“He’s training in isolation at the moment, not with the group, trying to get himself up to speed. There’s a lot in the background with Glen as well, with different enquiries and him talking to different people. So, it’s best that he’s to the side of the group.
“I’ve got no issues with him on a personal level. It’s a conversation we had a good few months ago. It will be a long month. I’m sure one or two will leave and maybe one or two more will arrive.”
Time to find a solution
Few would’ve seen this being the way Kamara would be departing Ibrox only a few years ago, but it is safe to say, Beale is taking on this window in a way that few other managers would have or could have.
The Rangers boss has one goal in mind and that is catching and beating Celtic this season, and to do that, he thinks they need a complete freshen up, with plenty of the old guard moved out as new players arrive at Ibrox.

Kamara ultimately has ended up in the same pile as Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos, players who have been excellent in Glasgow at times, but also players who that time has now passed in the eyes of their manager.
What remains to be seen is whether the Gers are capable of getting their asking price for the Finnish midfielder this summer. With only a year left on his deal in Glasgow there may be a reluctance from some clubs to fork out the reported £5m fee.
Either way it appears that both the club and the player are in agreement that his future lies elsewhere as the Beale revolution continues to rumble on. Hopefully a solution can be found sooner rather than later.
In other Rangers news, former Gers striker Alfredo Morelos seems to have finally found a new club having left Ibrox
