Official Rangers partner fumes at Ridvan Yilmaz after what happened v Hoffenheim
Heart and Hand were left fuming with Ridvan Yilmaz in the Rangers v Hoffenheim friendly on Saturday, 29 July, played at the Rhein-Neckar Arena.
The left-back did not put in a good performance, at least in the initial stages of the game, and plenty of Hoffenheim attacks took place from his side of the pitch.
The Turkey international, who moved to Ibrox last summer, will be looking to usurp Borna Barisic in the playing eleven.
Via Twitter, the club’s official partner wrote, “Yilmaz has had a shocker. Our LB area is a disaster right now.”
Improvement needed
By the looks of it, both Barisic and Yilmaz are staying put at Rangers this summer so talks of a new left-back can be pushed back by 12 months.
No Gers fan would’ve been impressed by either of their showings last season and would probably have wanted the Croatian outfit for a better left-back.
That does not seem to be happening so they both need to improve and the Turk’s done little to prove why he merits a start over Barisic.

Michael Beale knows that both of them need to improve and deliver performances like what James Tavernier is on the other side.
The bar is pretty high and they’ve got to live up to it if Rangers are to become legitimate title contenders for the upcoming season.
Hopefully, Yilmaz works doubly as hard as there is a case for him to be the first-choice left-back next season.
In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal player set to leave this summer.
