Rangers deal to sign Danilo all complete, transfer No.8 to be announced
Rangers have completed their eighth signing of the summer with Danilo set to be announced as a new player soon, according to Four Lads Had a Dream.
According to the official Ranger partner (28 July), the Brazilian has already been at the training ground with his move to Ibrox now all but completed and an announcement now expected soon.
The Daily Record reported on 24 July that Feyenoord decided to accept a final ‘take-it-or-leave-it’ offer from Rangers for Danilo worth around £6m after they agreed to a deal worth €7m (£6m) to land Netherlands international Calvin Stengs.
And writing on their official Twitter page (28 July), Four lads also reported that Cifuentes could be completed next week, they tweeted:
“Deal is done. Signed, complete and he is here.
“Already been at the training ground.
“All we are waiting on is club announcement. Signing number 8.
“Cifuentes next week.”
Cream of the crop addition
Danilo will now join up with the likes of new additions Abdallah Sima, Cyriel Dessers and Sam Lammers in an exciting new attacking weaponry that could well mean Rangers not only challenge Celtic in a full-scale title race but potentially topple them.
And the Brazilian could prove the defining ingredient in Beale’s team to ensure they fulfil those lofty ambitions.

The 24-year-old notched ten league goals but his qualities in the attacking sense transcend his goalscoring and are quite clear, recording three assists, averaging 0.2 assists per 90 in the past year, placing him in the 87th percentile when compared to his positional peers in Europe’s top-eight leagues.
Danilo is also tremendously creative and efficient out of possession, as evidenced by his ranking in the top 18% of forwards across the continent for shot-creating actions per 90 and ranking in the 97th percentile for interceptions highlighting that he isn’t only influential when scoring and creating but also defending from the front.
Credit to Rangers for pushing for this signing and the Ibrox faithful can now marvel at their exciting new eighth summer signing.
In other Rangers news, a BBC pundit has shared three players at the Ibrox that would start for Celtic.
