Official Rangers partner reacts to transfer news emerging from Ibrox
Four Lads Had a Dream’s Steven Clifford has delivered his verdict on the Rangers signings this summer and pre-season performances.
The club’s official media partner believes that the likes of Danilo, Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Jose Cifuentes will be the ones that need to perform with Michael Beale now having the onus to get them to perform.
Gers announced the signing of Danilo on 28 July and are working on signing Cifuentes this summer despite having a pre-contract agreement in place.

Four Lads wrote for Rangers Review, “The acquisitions of Butland, Dowell, Sterling, Balogun and Sima on loan are not where Michael Beale will be judged.
“Those are low-budget deals, sure they aren’t coming for free, but the market is there if they don’t settle.
“The true judgements will come over the £15million output for Danilo, Dessers, Lammers and Cifuentes. That’s where Beale will feel pressure because they simply have to perform. They need goals, they need numbers and they need to be successful – otherwise, criticism will follow.
“The performance against the Greeks wasn’t great, in fact, it was outright poor and you can’t polish the result or make excuses for it either.
“Pre-season doesn’t tell us everything – it is mainly about fitness. That’s no excuse for a dreadful night but context is important.”
Spot on
Beale cannot say that he’s not been backed this summer as there’s been a tremendous outlay of funds, especially in the final third.
The pre-season game wasn’t the best but it’s also a side that’s not played too much with each other.

It takes time for new signings to adapt and playing Olympiakos is never easy as they’re an established European side.
Beale also will be trying out different things so this is not the best team possible he can set up for next season.
Cifuentes and Danilo weren’t even signed by then and those two are almost certain to be among the first names on the team sheet.
Over the coming months, things should improve and they do seem to have what it takes in order to win the title ahead of Celtic.
In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal player set to leave this summer.
