Saudi Arabia offer now on table for Fashion Sakala in Rangers transfer news
Rangers forward Fashion Sakala has an uncertain future at Ibrox after the club received a big-money offer from Saudi Arabia for the Zambian, according to the Scottish Daily Mail.
The Scottish Daily Mail reported on their back page on 27 July that the 26-year-old has turned down the offer in favour of remaining at Ibrox, despite the arrival of a number of forward players already this summer, with another expected through the door soon.
According to the report, Rangers boss Michael Beale revealed that the club have received three of four enquiries for players like Sakala, who are likely to find themselves on the fringes of the squad in the new season.

Movement is still expected
Despite the 23-year-old forward turning down the offer to move to Saudi Arabia, despite the assumed lucrative financial offer, he is still expected to be one of the players moved on by Rangers this summer after a huge squad overhaul.
Rangers have already completed seven signings this summer, although Feyenoord striker Danilo and LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes are expected to sign in the coming days, taking the club’s incoming total to nine already.
In Sakala’s position as a forward, the club have made moves for Cyriel Dessers, Sam Lammers and Abdallah Sima, as well as Danilo, as they look to pad out their attacking line after Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos both left Ibrox.

It was questioned recently whether Beale is capable of handling such a massive overhaul of the playing staff despite his relative lack of experience as a boss, and decisions like this will do him no favours, as the club currently seem to be struggling with moving players on.
With all of the incoming faces, some players will have to be moved on to free up space, or they risk being left with an inflated squad and a tricky financial situation. Sakala is expected to be one of these players.
In other Rangers news, a new signing is awaiting a work visa before flying to Glasgow.
