Michael Beale urges patience as Danilo timeline emerges at Rangers
Michael Beale has urged patience and has issued a timeline update for the impending arrival of Feyenoord striker Danilo at Rangers.
The Gers boss has also played down both the fee being paid for the Brazilian attacker and the salary he will earn at Ibrox.
The Scottish club have had a £6million bid accepted for the forward, who will earn up to £45,000 per week, according to the Daily Record.

“I’d say you just need to be patient until after the weekend and not listen to the size of the fee or the size of the salary,” said Beale, as quoted by the Daily Record.
“I can tell you it’s nowhere near the size of both. But if you stay patient, then I’m hoping there’ll be some good news at the start of next week for everybody.”

Big money
As Beale mentioned, the figures concerning Danilo may not be entirely accurate, but they are still certain to be substantial, particularly in terms of Scottish football.
The Scottish top flight is well behind the likes of the English Premier League when it comes to finances, and unfortunately for Danilo it means there will be huge pressure on his shoulders from the first second he arrives in the country.
Gers fans and of course Beale will be desperate for the player to thrive under that pressure, with the manager clearly believing that the player is capable of doing just that.
Also making it difficult for the Brazilian will be the competition for places at Ibrox, with Sam Lammers and Cyriel Dessers also brought in this summer, as well as Abdallah Sima on loan.
Fashion Sakala is also still at the club, in what is a packed area of Beale’s ever-growing Rangers squad.
In other Rangers news, one journalist has predicted a “fantastic” returning player to have the same impact as Beale’s new signings.
