Medical update emerges as Rangers set to seal signing of Feyenoord striker Danilo
Feyenoord striker Danilo could arrive in Glasgow on Wednesday, 26 July, in order to undergo his Rangers medical, claim the Daily Record.
The Scottish newspaper report [26 July, Page 48] that the 24-year-old is set to be among the highest earners at Ibrox once the move is finalised.
It’s understood that an offer of £6million plus bonuses and add-ons has been made for the Brazilian who’s now set to join Gers.

Good move
Danilo was always on the club’s radar when they were looking for a new striker and things had appeared to cool down in the middle.
With the acquisition of Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Abdallah Sima, there was scepticism over whether or not a new striker would be sanctioned by the board.
Michael Beale was clear that he wanted a new attacker through the door and by the looks of it, he will be getting his desired target.

It remains to be seen how Dessers and Danilo now play in the same team and whether or not this gets Beale to change his system.
A back three has been tried in the past and that could be the way to go or a very fluid 4-4-2 diamond which makes the most of the creative players and goal scorers in the team.
These are exciting times for Rangers fans as it’s been a productive summer in terms of acquisitions for the club.
In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal player set to leave this summer.
