Rangers in personal talks with Danilo as Jose Cifuentes transfer close
Rangers are closing in on a deal for Feyenoord striker Danilo, with the club in talks with the Brazilian after reportedly agreeing a fee with his club, according to The 4th Official.
The online outlet shared via their Patreon page on 25 July that the Glasgow side are progressing in talks with the striker, and shared that negotiations over persuading him to join Rangers are not thought to be difficult following the agreement with his club.
It was reported by the Daily Record on the morning of 25 July that Rangers had agreed to a £6million deal to bring the striker to Ibrox after a take-it-or-leave-it offer was made to the Dutch club when talks were thought to be stalling.

Danilo looks set to make the move to Ibrox with Jose Cifuentes, who may arrive first following the breakthrough in talks at the start of this week.
Get this one over the line as soon as possible
As The 4th Official mentioned in this update, talks over a deal with the player are not supposed to be the difficult part of this transfer, after negotiations with the club dragged on longer than many had expected.
Michael Beale will be pleased to finally get this deal over the line, as his number one striker target can join up with the rest of the squad while they are still early in pre-season preparations, allowing the maximum amount of time for Danilo to acclimatise to his surroundings both on and off the pitch.

The Brazilian will join Rangers’ other forward signings this summer, with Sam Lammers, Abdallah Sima and Cyriel Dessers having already joined to reinforce the attacking options at Ibrox after the departures of Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos.
Beale continues to look for improvements to his Rangers squad, with the board set to back him relentlessly in their aggressive approach this summer, with more signings still expected through the doors at Ibrox.
In other Rangers news, everything is ready for a new midfielder to sign off on a deal to join the club.
