Rangers hope to seal Danilo transfer in next 48 hours as James Bisgrove returns with improved offer
Rangers chief James Bisgrove returned to the negotiating table on Sunday (23 July) with an improved offer said to be closer to Feyenoord’s €6.5m (£5.6m) price tag, according to the Daily Record.
According to the report (23 July), sources in Holland believe that the two clubs have entered into advanced negotiations to thrash out the details for the Brazilian striker and the top brass at Ibrox hope to get the deal done in the next 48 hours.
Relations between the two clubs are said to be “strained” but Bisgrove’s fourth official bid could be enough to get a deal across the line.

Danilo hopes to be granted permission to travel to Scotland early this week to rubber-stamp his own personal terms, with his heart reportedly set on his long-awaited move to Ibrox.

It is abundantly clear what Michael Beale feels about Danilo, with the Gers said to be pushing over a long period of time to try and get this deal over the line.
The Brazilian certainly represents the cream of the crop for the Gers boss as he embodies everything Beale wants in his front-man with his unique all-round attributes tailor-made for what is being built in Glasgow.

Danilo impressed for the Dutch side last season scoring ten league goals and his qualities in the attacking sense are quite clear, recording three assists, averaging 0.2 assists per 90 in the past year, placing him in the 87th percentile, when compared to his positional peers in Europe’s top-eight leagues.
The Brazilian is also tremendously creative and efficient out of possession, as evidenced by his ranking in the top 18% of forwards across the continent for shot-creating actions per 90, and ranking in the 97th percentile for interceptions highlighting that he isn’t only influential when scoring and creating but also defending from the front
In contrast to the push for Jose Cifuentes, the pursuit of Danilo appears to be moving very quickly, and the money on offer is substantial.
Rangers certainly won’t be tabling this sort of offer for no reason, Danilo is a player they feel could help them topple Celtic next season and that sort of investment is priceless.
In other Rangers news, the club are set for a seven-figre windfall after a Premier League bid went in.
