Nico Raskin sends two-word message to Rangers teammate Tom Lawrence after win v Hamburg
Nico Raskin has sent Rangers teammate Tom Lawrence a two-word message after the latter returned to the team following a lengthy injury.
Lawrence ended an 11-month spell on the sidelines due to injury by appearing as a substitute in the club’s 2-1 friendly win over Hamburg on Saturday (22 July), with Kemar Roofe also returning to action following his injury.
The attacker has been limited to just nine Rangers appearances since his move from English Championship outfit Derby County last summer.

“Brilliant to have Lawrence and Roofe back in action at Ibrox,” stated the official Rangers Instagram account.
Sharing the image of Lawrence on his personal story, Raskin wrote: “He’s back.”

Warm welcome back
Lawrence received a warm welcome back from his teammates, staff and supporters, with everyone at the club delighted to have the midfielder on the pitch once again.
The attacker has definitely been missed at Ibrox, having immediately hit the ground running following his summer move from Derby with three goals and two assists in blue.
The Wales international definitely could have helped Rangers in their ultimately unsuccessful pursuit of fierce rivals Celtic last season.
But injuries are part of football, and Lawrence will now just be glad to be able to be back on the pitch.
It would have been painful for the attacker to have watched on last season, but now he should be more than ready to get going this time around.
The injuries, disappointing season for the club and indeed new signings from Michael Beale should all serve as superb incentives for Lawrence to try and get back to his best as soon as possible.
