Jose Cifuentes signs contract as Rangers transfer gets closer at Ibrox
LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes has signed his contract ahead of his expected move to Rangers, according to Mr OFFSIDER.
The Ecuadorian outlet, with over 25,000 followers on Twitter, has reported that it is still possible that the move doesn’t happen until January, despite the contract being officially penned.
It comes after Michael Beale shared that an agreement had been reached, but that has now been made official with just the fee needing to be agreed upon over the next six weeks.
They wrote: “Jose Cifuentes has already signed a contract with Scottish Rangers.
“However, it is possible that he will continue at LAFC until January.”

Saga.
Beale must be getting fed up of talking about this one, and the sooner it is done, the better it will be for everyone involved in the potential deal.
Cifuentes and Rangers have done the first part of the transfer, and getting the contract signed will only ramp up the pressure on agreeing upon a fee for the actual transfer.
LAFC will not want to hold onto an asset that will leave for nothing when they could potentially bring in £1million or even more from Rangers over the next month.
Negotiations will be non-stop, and now that he has signed the contract, that is one half of the deal they do not need to worry about as talks continue with the club.
Cifuentes would be one of the last pieces of the jigsaw for Beale and Rangers in that midfield, and with Danilo at Feyenoord also along the line, it could be business over already soon.
This is certainly something to watch over the next few days.
