Michael Beale shares confidence over Rangers signing Los Angeles FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes
Michael Beale has issued a further update as Rangers look to wrap up the deal to sign Los Angeles FC midfielder Jose Cifuentes.
After recently confirming that a pre-contract agreement had been reached to sign the Ecuador international, Beale now reveals that the club are confident to sign the 24-year-old this summer.
Should they not do that, he will move to Ibrox on a free transfer at the end of the year as his deal at LAFC runs out then.

Beale told Rangers Review [22 July] when asked about signing Cifuentes this summer, “Yeah, yeah, confident enough.”
Good news
Cifuentes and Danilo from Feyenoord are the next two names that the club appears to be working on in the past few weeks.
The Ecuador midfielder is extremely talented and has been billed as an “incredibly complete” footballer by LAFC coach Steve Cherundolo
Beale has left the door open for signings beyond that too but the priority is two bring in the duo as soon as possible.

With pre-season in full swing and the curtain raiser for the 2023-24 campaign not too far away, it makes sense to sign the players quickly.
They need to adapt to the system and be fully aware of what Beale demands from them as they have to be winning the title.
The board have backed their manager to the T and it’s now on him and his new signings to deliver when it matters the most.
The signs thus far, have been positive and it remains to be seen how it all unfolds on the field of play.
In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal player set to leave this summer.
