Rangers transfer news as Scott Wright exit to be sealed within days
Rangers winger Scott Wright is set to leave the club in the coming days, with a move to Turkey looking like his new destination, according to a report from The Scotsman.
It has been revealed on 18 July that 25-year-old Wright is expected to fly to Istanbul to complete a move to newly-promoted Turkish side Pendikspor ahead of a rumoured £500,000 move away from Rangers.
Wright joined Rangers from Aberdeen three years ago but has failed to make a real impact on any of his three managers, mostly on the fringes of the sides he’s played in, and featuring largely as a substitute under Michael Beale last season.

The beginning of a clearout at Rangers
Wright’s move could be one of many exits from Ibrox this summer, as Rangers will need to move some players on to make space for the droves of incoming faces that are being brought in to bolster Beale’s squad.
Seven signings have already arrived at Ibrox in this transfer window, with Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers, Abdallah Sima and Kieran Dowell all incoming and able to play in Wright’s position. This is why Rangers have been so keen to move the former Aberdeen man on.

Many other players may be set to follow Wright out the door in a huge squad refresh for Rangers as Beale looks to build and trim his squad ahead of the new season.
Antonio Colak has joined Parma, Glen Kamara has been linked with a move to Leeds United, Fashion Sakala has been linked with a move to Spain, Robbie McRorie is set to leave the club, and further exits are still expected.
In other Rangers news, one player looks set to be granted a move away imminently.
