Rangers transfer news as Danilo pushes Feyenoord bosses for ‘early’ exit

Feyenoord striker Danilo is still pushing his bosses to seal his move to Rangers this week, according to The Daily Record.

The newspaper has reported on its website (16 July) that the Brazilian now wants his move to Ibrox to be sealed “early” as negotiations continue.

The striker is said to be valued at £6million, with Rangers looking to add to their attack before the new Scottish Premiership season starts again.

After sealing seven signings of his own, Michael Beale finally started to open the exit door over the weekend.

Antonio Colak was one of the first to leave, sealing his move to Italian side Parma, in a deal that could be worth at least £2.5million to the club.

With links surrounding the likes of Fashion Sakala, Scott Wright, Robby McCrorie and Glen Kamara, that certainly won’t be the last exit we see, either.

New look.

Beale looks to be pushing to finally secure the last piece of his new attacking jigsaw.

We have seen Colak join Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos out of the back door at Ibrox, with Wright and Sakala potentially making room for others too.

Danilo would join up with other new options such as Sam Lammers, Cyriel Dessers and Abdallah Sima if he was to sign on the dotted line in Govan.

That would be a frightening few options on paper, and Rangers will have done sensational business if they can get it done way before the new season starts.

For that to happen though, it needs to be done this week with nearly only a fortnight to go until that first day of the season that we are all craving.

With Danilo wanting an early exit from his club, this is certainly one to watch in the coming days.
