Rangers aim to complete triple swoop as soon as possible

Rangers want to complete three signings as quickly as possible, according to The 4th Official.

The outlet reported on their patreon account on Monday (17 July) that the Gers are working on tying up the signings of Feyenoord forward Danilo, LAFC midfielder Jose Cifuentes and Nottingham Forest defender Jonathan Panzo.

That trio of deals would take Rangers’ incomings this summer to 10, and the The 4th Official report said only once those three players are through the door and outgoings are finalised will any more signings be considered.

Among the outgoings is expected to be Glen Kamara to Championship side Leeds United.

The report states Leeds are due to pay a fee in the region of £4million for Kamara plus add-ons and a 10 per cent sell-on fee.

Busy times at Ibrox

It has been a truly exciting summer for Rangers fans already with no fewer than seven signings already through the door as part of Michael Beale’s squad overhaul.

If the reports are true then there could be three more bodies through the door imminently too, which would take their business up to double figures.

Beale will now have the job of trying to ship out some players who no longer feature in his plans with Kamara and Scott Wright seemingly chief among those who have no future at Ibrox.

Of course, there will need to be an element of patience employed by Rangers fans. There is no need not to be optimistic with so many new players through the door, but there will have to be a bedding-in period for the new signings.

The good thing is, though, that Beale has wasted little time in getting players in and should have plenty of time to get his signings settled.

In other Rangers news, the Gers have agreed a Scott Wright fee as Pendikspor transfer on verge of completion.
