Complications may arise as Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara agrees on terms with Leeds United

Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara has agreed on personal terms to join Leeds United this summer, according to Last Word on Sports.

The news outlet reports [17 July] that there could be some complexities in getting the deal done due to Gers’ quest to return to the top of Scottish football and reclaim the league title.

It’s understood that his capabilities are precisely what Leeds boss Daniel Farke needs to have a good season in the Championship.

Get gone

Most Rangers fans will not mind seeing the back of Kamara as he’s regressed as a player over the last two years.

He was once touted for a move to a top-half Premier League club and now sides in the English championship want him.

It remains to be seen how much Rangers can manage to get from Kamara as his agreeing on personal terms means that he wants a move as well.

It could be a fresh start for him and a chance for the Ibrox giants to make the most of the interest shown in the 27-year-old.

Leeds have recently been taken over by an NFL franchise and will get parachute payments from relegation so money is there to spend at Elland Road.

Gers desperately need funds as they’ve made a number of signings already and need more money to bring in a couple of new names before the window shuts.

In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal defender set to leave this summer.
