Rangers defender Borna Barisic stance shared as Nottingham Forest eye summer transfer
Rangers defender Borna Barisic is subject to interest from Premier League side Nottingham Forest with Football Scotland sharing his transfer stance.
According to the Scottish news outlet [15 July], the Croatia international wants to continue at Ibrox and is keen to extend his current deal with contract talks ongoing.
While Forest may be interested in him, they are yet to make any contact to sign the 30-year-old.

Can cash in
Forest broke the Premier League record for the most number of players signed in a season and it’s not like all of them were cheap deals.
They spent lavishly and backed manager Steve Cooper and that strategy managed to keep them in the Premier League.
They then hired Ross Wilson ahead of the window and links to Barisic come as no surprise as he’s turning to his former side for potential targets.

He will be aware that the left-back is in contract talks and that nothing has been finalised about his future so he could use it to try and convince him to move to the City Ground.
While Barisic may want to stay, Rangers can use the Forest interest as an opportunity to cash in on him.
His performances have not been great in the past 18 months and he’s already 30 so his resale value may reduce even if he does sign an extension at the club.
In other Rangers news, the club are now battling an English side for the services of an Arsenal defender set to leave this summer.
